It is with great sadness that the Club has learnt of the passing of former Senior Head Coach Mr Bob Sulley.

Bob began his Coaching career at Clwb Rygbi Dinbych following a move to the local village of Llannefydd, his first Coaching position at Clwb Rygbi Dinbych saw him work with the Youth Team during the 2011/12 season but it wasn't long before Bob stepped up to the Seniors and took the position of Head Coach working with the current Head Coach Mr Russell Rowlands. 

Bob brought new ideas from his time in charge at his previous Clubs, Market Bosworth RFC and Hinckley RFC over in England. A good mix of veteran players and enthusiastic youngsters gave Bob a solid platform to work with and Clwb Rygbi Dinbych were soon looking like serious Division 2 North title contenders that season. 

The 1st Team's successes went from strength to strength during the 2012/13 season, finishing 9 points ahead of league runners up COBRA RFC to claim the Division 2 North crown. 
Three weeks later Bob and the 1st Team would once again be on the hunt for silverwear, this time Bob had his eye's set on the North Wales Intermediate Cup and his squad would not disappoint as they beat Shotton Steel 33-16 to take the Cup back to Caeau Les Phillips.

The following season would see Dinbych promoted to Division 1 North, the premier of Club level rugby in North Wales. Bob drove the high standards set the previous season and this helped Dinbych to victory against all but two side's involved in the league that season. 
Clwb Rygbi Dinbych would also register it's highest ever finish in Division 1 North, a well deserved 5th place and a fantastic achievement for a newly promoted side.

Bob's tenure as Head Coach would come to an end in November of 2014, leaving the Club in a healthy position with both Players and Coaches having learnt immensely during his time at Caeau Les Phillips.
