Disgrifiad Swydd: Ffisiotherapydd Adran hŷn Clwb Rygbi Dinbych, byddwch yn chwarae rhan hanfodol wrth gefnogi iechyd a lles ein chwaraewyr rygbi hŷn. Byddwch yn gweithio’n agos gyda’r staff hyfforddi a’r chwaraewyr i ddarparu gwasanaethau ffisiotherapi o ansawdd uchel, strategaethau atal anafiadau, a rhaglenni adsefydlu. Bydd eich arbenigedd yn cyfrannu at berfformiad a llwyddiant cyffredinol ein chwaraewyr.

 

Cyfrifoldebau:

 

    •    Asesu anafiadau a darparu triniaeth briodol a chynlluniau adsefydlu atebol.

    •    Cynllunio a gweithredu rhaglenni atal anafiadau i leihau risgau anafiadau yn ystod ymarferion a gemau.

    •    Cynnal asesiadau cyn-gem a ôl-gem i sicrhau parodrwydd chwaraewyr ac i hwyluso adferiad.

    •    Cydweithio â hyfforddwyr i optimeiddio perfformiad chwaraewyr ac adferiad.

    •    Cadw cofnodion o anafiadau, triniaethau, a datblygiad adsefydlu.

    •    Darparu addysg ac awgrymiadau i chwaraewyr ar reoli anafiadau, technegau adferiad, a chynnal iechyd a ffitrwydd cyffredinol.

 

Cymwysterau:

 

    •    Gradd mewn Ffisiotherapi neu gymhwyster cyfatebol.

    •    Cofrestru cyfredol gyda’r Cyngor Proffesiynau Iechyd a Gofal (HCPC).

    •    Profiad blaenorol o weithio fel Ffisiotherapydd mewn lleoliad chwaraeon, yn ddelfrydol gyda chwaraewyr rygbi.

    •    Gwybodaeth gref am anafiadau chwaraeon, egwyddorion adsefydlu, a thechnegau asesu anafiadau.

    •    Sgiliau cyfathrebu ac ymgysylltu rhagorol, gyda’r gallu i feithrin perthynas â chwaraewyr, hyfforddwyr, a staff.

    •    Hyblygrwydd i weithio nosweithiau a phenwythnosau yn ystod tymor rygbi.

 

 

Job Description: As the Senior Squad Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and well-being of our senior rugby players. You will work closely with the coaching staff and players to provide high-quality physiotherapy services, injury prevention strategies, and rehabilitation programmes. Your expertise will contribute to the overall performance and success of our senior squad.

 

Responsibilities:

 

    •    Assessing and diagnosing injuries and providing appropriate treatment and rehabilitation plans.

    •    Designing and implementing injury prevention programs to minimize the risk of injuries during training and matches.

    •    Conducting pre-match and post-match assessments to ensure player readiness and facilitate recovery.

    •    Collaborating with coaches to optimize player performance and recovery.

    •    Maintaining accurate documentation of injuries, treatments, and rehabilitation progress.

    •    Providing education and advice to players on injury management, recovery techniques, and maintaining overall health and fitness.

 

Qualifications:

 

    •    Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.

    •    Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

    •    Previous experience working as a physiotherapist in a sports setting, preferably with rugby athletes.

    •    Strong knowledge of sports injuries, rehabilitation principles, and musculoskeletal assessment techniques.

    •    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with players, coaches, and staff.

    •    Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required during the rugby season.
